A happy face radiated from the face of the Head of Tamansari Village, Rizal Saputra, 31, in the grand final of the creative video competition held at the Ketapang Indah Hotel, yesterday evening. How not, the village which is at the foot of Mount Ijen won two awards in a competition witnessed by the Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas and all sub-district heads.

Many times, the village head who comes wearing Oseng's traditional clothes in black with a yellow pattern is invited to take pictures by his colleagues and other participants.. The smile seemed unable to leave Rizal's face. "This is beyond our expectations. We didn't think we would win, but still won the title,Rizal said with a smile on his face.

Rizal told, it took two months to produce the video entitled “Tamansari Home of Adventurous”.. Five of his team members took a video with an in-depth review of all the potential of Tamansari Village. The story of this video tells about the experience of someone who has visited Tamansari Village.

The man then returned to Tamansari because he missed the beauty of the village. Start culinary, culture, the natural atmosphere to tourist attractions including the Ijen Crater make anyone who visits it feel at home.

“The concept is simple. Just about people who want to come again after having been to Tamansari. But there we show the potential one by one,” explained the alumni of SMAN 1 Giri it. Rizal told, during the video shoot his team had to adjust to the conditions of Tamansari Village.

The village that has Sendang Seruni is referred to as “the rain house” because it often rains in that place. Not to mention that the Tamansari Village area is arguably one of the most extensive in Banyuwangi. So that makes the team really have to divide the time to get to the spots that will be included in the creative video.

“Tamansari is wide, there is a lot of potential that we can actually lift. But there are things we must prioritize. Until finally we choose Ijen crater, coffee and culture that is there,Rizal explained. Finished video made, his team also still had to think hard about cutting the video which was originally five minutes long to three minutes.

"Fortunately all parties make our work easier. Including the BKSD which allowed us to take pictures in Ijen Crater. Because usually people have to pay tens of millions to take pictures, said Rizal with a smile.

After the video that was worked on by the village's creative team was chosen as the winner, Rizal plans to use the video as promotional material. It says, Tamansari Village can be said to be still original. Tamansari Village is the only route that must be passed by tourists if they want to go to Ijen Crater via Banyuwangi. This condition can encourage Tamansari Village to be worthy of being promoted as a tourist destination village..

"Our slogan is stayfor blue fire. So before enjoying blue fire, tourists can rest and stop first at Tamansari,'' said the man who also farms everyday. The last time before leaving, Rizal said that his team is also desperately promoting Tamansari Village's creative videos in order to get the most likes and viewers on Youtube. The path, of course, is by using social media and friendship groups.

"Everyone we know we give a link to watch our videos including giving likes. There are also KKN students who have been here, we also provide a Youtube link. Some are from UGM, UI, IAIN Sunan Ampel, all we give, added Vicky H. Kurniawan, one of the residents who helped the process of making the three-minute video. (radar)
