Check the Readiness of Cable Car Development

SMOOTH – Plans to build a cable car alias cable car in the Mount Ijen area, Banyuwangi, entering a new chapter soon. In the near future a consultant team for the construction of a cable car from Switzerland will come to Banyuwangi to check the readiness of the construction of the tourist vehicle.

Tasks executor (Plt) Head of Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) Banyuwangi, M. Yanuarto Bramuda, said that so far the preparations for the construction of the cable car in the Mount Ijen area have been running on the track.

"While waiting for permission from the central government to come down, consultant team, including a team from Switzerland will come to conduct direct monitoring on the field," he said. Bramuda added, apart from the arrival of a team from Switzerland, a series of preparatory processes for the construction of other cable cars are also ongoing.

He admitted that some time ago his party had communicated with the Ministry of Tourism (Ministry of Tourism) RI. The Ministry of Tourism questioned the existence of a warehouse to support the construction of the cable car.
