BANYUWANGI – Selection of candidates for regent (remove) in the National Awakening Party (PKB) enter the decisive stage. Two out of five PKB branch applicants underwent a fit and proper test at the Regional Leadership Council office (DPW) PKB East Java, Surabaya, last Saturday (13/6).

Apart from the candidate from Banyuwangi, The fit and proper test is also followed by the district candidates or mayoral candidates (cawali) origin 18 other regencies/cities that hold simultaneous regional elections in East Java in 2015 this.
The two Banyuwangi branch candidates who attended the fit and proper test were the Chairperson of the Tanfidz Branch Leadership Council (DPC) PKB Banyuwangi, Joni Subagio and Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas. Confirmed after attending the launch of the Election of the Regent and Deputy Regent (Pilbup) Banyuwangi 2015 at Blambangan Park yesterday (14/6), Anas confirmed that he took part in the fit and proper test which was held at the East Java PKB DPW office.
“I and a number of candidates from other regions, including the incumbent regional heads who attended and took the fit and proper test," he said. It was asked how big the chance was for him to get a recommendation to be carried by PKB as a branch of Banyuwangi, Anas emphasized that the recommendation authority was in the hands of the DPP PKB.
Joni Subagio, who was confirmed separately, also did not deny himself taking the fit and proper test which was held at the East Java PKB DPW office. In line with Anas, Joni emphasized that the authority to issue recommendations on who would be the candidate for PKB was in the hands of the DPP of the party with the green color..
But honey, when asked about the preparations that had been made in welcoming the Pilbup 9 next December, Joni declined to comment. “About that (preparation), no comment dulu," he concluded. To be known, the selection of the Banyuwangi PKB branch succeeded in attracting five candidates to register.
Four out of the five applicants for the PKB branch came from internal alias cadres, while one other applicant comes from external, namely a former DPRD member from PDIP, Heru Pratista. Meanwhile, four cadres who registered themselves as branch of PKB among them, a member of the Banyuwangi DPRD from the PKB faction, A Munif Intercessor, Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas.
Besides that, two top executives of the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) PKB Banyuwangi also registers as a branch of PKB. They are the Chairman of the Board of Tanfidz DPC Banyuwangi PKB, Joni Subagio; Head of the Shura Council DPC PKB, Masrukhin Aba Hidayat. (radar)
