Ferry Passenger Dead in Bathroom

KALIPURO – A passenger on the ferry bound for Gilimanuk-Ketapang Port was found dead in the bathroom half naked last Tuesday (17/11). No serious injuries were found on the victim's body.

Knowing that, the police immediately contacted the closest family in Surabaya. Family information obtained by the police, the victim did have a history of acute gastritis for a long time. Apart from the family, who said Sahri did have a history of acute ulcer disease, the finding of the victim's excrement in the toilet mixed with blood is also strong evidence that Sahri died because of this disease.

The results of an external examination did not reveal any traces of abuse. “We have contacted the victim's family. Apparently the victim had a history of acute stomach ulcers. After being taken to Blambangan Hospital, the victim's body was immediately taken to the family's house in Surabaya,Hadi concluded.

Meanwhile, Sahri's death in the ship's toilet had become a spectacle for the passengers and crew of the KMP Yunice. The location where Sahri's body was found was surrounded by boat passengers who wanted to get a closer look at the victim's body.
