BANYUWANGI, KOMPAS.com – PT Train Indonesia (Persero) daop 9 Jember make sure the train fleet is ready to operate as long as Eid transportation 2023.
Vice President of KAI Daop 9 Jember Mulyani said it was, have prepared 10 locomotive and 59 train during Eid transportation this year.
“We carry out periodic maintenance on the locomotives that will later be used in homecoming traffic to serve customers so that their reliability is maintained,” Mulyani said, Sunday (9/4/2023).

According to Mulyani, PT KAI's locomotives and gerbings continue to be maintained periodically based on their service life, of one month's treatment, three months, six months, 12 months to 24 month.
“For periodic maintenance 1-12 month, conducted at the Locomotive Depot and Train Depot,” he said.
While maintenance 24 month is done at Balai Yasa, for locomotives at Balai Yasa Yogyakarta, meanwhile for trains at Balai Yasa Surabaya Gubeng.
“We schedule the facilities that are due for maintenance this month so that they can all be completed before the start of the Lebaran transportation,” said Mulyani.
“So that during the flow back and forth, Daop means 9 Jember is ready for all operations,” he added.

Previously on 14-17 March 2023, a team from the Directorate General of Railways has carried out a ramp check or field inspection of the facilities owned by Daop 9 Jember.
Result 10 locomotive and 59 Passenger trains are declared to have met the requirements and are feasible for operation.
“With reliable facilities, passengers will feel comfortable and trains can depart and arrive at their destination safely, safe on time,” said Mulyani.
