BANYUWANGI – Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas conducted unannounced inspections of a number of sub-districts yesterday (28/3). Result, The number one person in the Banyuwangi Regency Government admitted that he was disappointed with the services provided by several sub-districts.
The subdistrict that was the target of the inspection this time was Kertosari Subdistrict, Karangrejo Village, and Tukangkayu Village. According to Regent Anas, public services in the three sub-districts are inadequate as desired. For one year, Regent Anas admitted that he had given direction regarding several government policies. However, This direction did not receive serious attention from the sub-district as the frontline service provider.
One of what Regent Anas wants is friendly service to the community. For one year, Regent Anas asked all regional work units (SKPD) smiling in providing services to the people.
However, when the inspection was carried out, Regent Anas still finds sub-district staff who don't smile when providing services. "When I came, I didn't smile, let alone to the people!"said Anas. Besides that, Regent Anas also found sub-districts that ignored the green and clean program.
So far, Regent Anas has instructed all SKPD to green the office environment with plants in flower pots. However, when Regent Anas was inspected, We still found villages with minimal plants. Such as Kertosari Village and Karangrejo Village.
In these two sub-districts, Plants in flower pots are very drinkable. Even, Regent Anas did not find live flowers in the sub-district office. “Indoor plants are very important in maintaining health. I instructed all SPKD to install flower pots in their work rooms,” asked Regent Anas.
Not only that, he also found the sub-district office environment dirty. Therefore, he asked all sub-districts to maintain cleanliness. Regent Anas ordered all sub-district heads and village heads to study in Sumbergondo Village. According to him, The village has quite good innovation in services. “Service administration is good, even all residents are insured," he said. (radar)
