BANYUWANGI, KOMPAS.com – PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Ketapang-Gilimanuk advises travelers to order tickets online. This is to avoid the accumulation of vehicles in the Ketapang Port area, Banyuwangi, East Java, as well as in Gilimanuk Harbor, Jembrana, Bali.
“Of course, if you order tickets online, you won't have to pile up at the counter,” said Finance Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Junia Satriawan, Wednesday (19/4/2023).
According to Junia, Ferry ticket booking system via online can be done through the Ferizy application. The time span is quite long, can order 60 the day before the crossing time.
“People who are going back to their hometown or later who will be back can take advantage of this service,” said Junia.
Junia added, These early ticket reservations are actually made for mutual convenience, namely between the passenger and the operator.
“From passengers can avoid the queue. From the operator's point of view, for example, you know faster what date the reservation is, how many two-wheeled vehicles or four-wheeled vehicles. And so on,” he said.
Junia explained, currently travelers tend to buy tickets a few hours before departure.
“If there is a significant spike, ASDP is not easy to take steps to anticipate or follow up,” said Junia.
So therefore, ASDP Ketapang Gilimanuk advises travelers to take advantage of online ticket services through the website www.ferizy.com or the Ferizy application.
"Because in the vicinity of the port, it will no longer be possible to sell tickets, it's getting closer go show,” Junia explained.
