Election Carnival 2024, Banyuwangi KPU's Message to the Community

BANYUWANGI, Jurnalnews – At Elections 2024, General Election Commissions (KPU) Banyuwangi held an amazing carnival. They will go around visiting busy places such as markets and highway intersections.

The aim is to remind and encourage people to continue to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections. With a burning spirit, The Banyuwangi KPU will convey this important message to all residents.

Dian Purnawan, Socialization Division, Voter Education, Society participation, and Human Resources Development (HR), explained that the carnival organized by the Indonesian KPU was a national event held throughout Indonesia. Banyuwangi has the honor of being part of the trail 6, which starts from East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, Bali, East Java, Central Java, and so on.

“We in Banyuwangi received the baton from Bali Province on the first day, date 5. The event was held at the Banyuwangi Multipurpose Building. On the second day, We were directly involved in activities in Kemiren Village, interact with local communities,he explained.

He added that on the third day, wider activities were held by conveying information to the public and distributing brochures while holding roadshows at several important points. This activity started from Kabat District, Blimbingsari, Muncar, Purwoharjo, Cluring, and ends in Srono District.

On the fourth day, The event continued with a tour of Genteng District, ended up in Pesanggran. This agenda aims to provide understanding to the public that the KPU has determined political parties nationally.

Dian Purnawan, who served in the Socialization Division, Voter Education, Society participation, and Human Resources Development (HR), has an important role in ensuring that the public has sufficient understanding of the electoral process.
