BANYUWANGI – Azzahra Dwi Maulida, old boy 4 year of origin in Sumber Arum Village, Songgon District, Banyuwangi was born without anus.
So far, to defecate (BAB), the child of the couple Imam Mahmudi and Dewi Yulianti had to use an assistive device on the left side of the abdomen.
“He has been sick since he was three months old. Had surgery before in Surabaya (Dr Soetomo General Hospital). Never promised to have another operation to make the anus. So far there has been no call,” said Supiah (68) Nenek Azzahra, Monday (6/11/2017).
Supiah added, Previously, Azzahra was treated at the Blambangan Banyuwangi Hospital. Then he was referred to RSU dr Soetomo Surabaya, for temporary anal canal surgery. Due to financial constraints, the victim had to be taken home and treated at home.
“From Dr. Soetomo he said there were no rooms until now. We can't do anything,” added.
Even for BAB aids, the family only uses simple tools made of plastic ice packs.
This had to be done because of financial constraints and the inability to buy disposal tools that cost up to Rp 50 thousand and one chapters.
The family, who works daily as laborers looking for grass, can only give up and hope that they will be immediately referred to the hospital for medical treatment or anal surgery..
