BANYUWANGI - Insan Wahyudi (19) young man from Dusun Kawang, Labanasem Desa village, District of Kabat, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, desperate to end his life by hanging himself because of a breakup.
The victim was found dead in a state of hanging himself on a logistics warehouse pole, the Duta Beton paving factory, Labanasem Desa village, District of Kabat, on Monday (6/8/2018) about o'clock 18.00 WIB.
Based on the testimony of several witnesses, before being found dead by hanging himself, afternoon, around 17.00 WIB, the victim who was an employee at the factory, complained of hunger to his colleague.
Then by his partner, the victim was told to go to a shop to buy rice. However, after a while the victim went to the shop, never come back.
“After we search, it turned out that the victim was already hanging from a pole in the barn with his neck tied around his cloth pants which were connected to a rubber fanbel paving machine,” Fahrul said, incident witness.
Seeing the incident, the witness immediately reported the incident to the head of the local hamlet and forwarded it to the Kabat Police.
“When they arrived at the location, the victim was found in a lifeless condition,” said Kabat Polsek, AKP Supriyadi.
The police chief said, from family information, the victim died allegedly because of depression after breaking up with her boyfriend.
“That's right, the information we got was that victims of depression then ended their lives by hanging themselves,” explained Supriyadi.
Based on the results of medical examination, no signs of violence or blunt object impact were found on the victim's body. Police stated, pure suicide victim and from the testimony of witnesses, because of a breakup.
