BANYUWANGI – A fugitive selling minors has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kabat Police. The culprit is DW (26), Badean Villagers, Blimbingsari District, Banyuwangi Regency.
Previously, DW fled after police caught two pimps selling aged children 15 year to a man with a pointed nose.
Kabat Kabat Police Chief AKP Supriyadi said, lapse of two days since the arrest of SB (25) and NW (40) Officers ambushed DW at his house, which he had previously fled from.
In policy research, DW managed to escape to the Muncar area. When traced, it turned out that the perpetrator who was suspected of being involved in the trafficking of children had fled to Jember.
“The members succeeded in luring the suspect DW home. And when he returned home Saturday date 22 September 2018 officers managed to arrest,” said AKP Supriyadi, Monday (24/9/2018).

“The article that we applied to the suspect DW is the same as 2 previously arrested pimps,” he said.
Previously, police arrest 2 perpetrators of pimps selling underage children to peddle to johns in Banyuwangi. The victim is currently aged 15 year.
At that time, the victim was picked up at his house and invited to stay at the place of his colleague DW. The victim was then force-fed with beer before being sold to serve 2 masher man.
Even though he managed to escape, finally the perpetrator with the initials DW (26) fell into the trap of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kabat Police and was arrested at his house.
