BANYUWANGI — Hundreds of works by artists in the form of paintings and sculptures are exhibited at the Paramita Kencana Building, Banyuwangi. Annual event to welcome Banyuwangi Anniversary (Harjaba) The 246th event was held by the Banyuwangi Artist Community. This exhibition was organized by the Banyuwangi Artist Community.

Exhibition committee chairman Edi Cahyono said, This exhibition is open from date 4 until 10 December 2017. There are two exhibitions in this activity. First, exhibition of paintings and sculptures. While the second is a photography exhibition. The exhibition is themed “Referring to Roso”.

with this exhibition, it is hoped that Banyuwangi artists can have a sense of oneness, so that the results of the creation of works are able to show works that can not only be enjoyed in their area, but also on the national stage.

"Banyuwangi artists' potential is extraordinary, if this can be created a sense of togetherness alias compact, then the results must be amazing,said Edi yesterday.

Eddie said, during this exhibition, they are showing off 160 the result of a native artist from Banyuwangi. Most of the paintings are nuanced in Banyuwangi nature and figures. There are paintings of Mount Ijen to Pulau Merah. Meanwhile, there are character paintings featuring Gus Dur's figures.

Inside this exhibition, the committee also invited senior sculptor Sunarto. The man who lives in Jakarta every day shows off his imagination about being infatuated.
