BANYUWANGI – The Banyuwangi District Prosecutor's Office invites the entire community to work together to eradicate corruption, for the sake of realizing a prosperous society.
This invitation was conveyed by the head of the Banyuwangi District Prosecutor's Office, Adonis, on Friday afternoon (8/12) after carrying out a ceremony commemorating World Anti-Corruption Day which was held in the courtyard of the prosecutor's office on Jalan Attorney General Suprapto Banyuwangi.
Adonis said, The prosecutor's office took advantage of this moment to commemorate Anti-Corruption Day, as an effort to carry out a prevention campaign against corrupt practices. One of the efforts is to hold a speech competition between high school and vocational school in Banyuwangi with the theme of eradicating corruption.
Anti-corruption speech competition participated in by 60 vocational and high school in Banyuwangi, aims to inspire the younger generation to get involved in eradicating corruption, and become an honest generation free of corruption.
With hope, Participants also campaigned to their friends to always fight against corrupt practices around them. Because of this eradication of corruption, said Adonis, must start from yourself, for the sake of realizing a prosperous and corruption-free society.
Adonis added, World Anti-Corruption Day falls on 9 December. However, the Banyuwangi District Prosecutor's Office warned him a day earlier, by holding a rally with staff and officers at the Banyuwangi District Prosecutor's Office.
In the apple, Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the anti-corruption speech competition, which was continued with the distribution of anti-corruption stickers to road users passing in front of the prosecutor's office.

Exist 5 corruption cases that are still in the process of being prosecuted, 3 cases of suspected corruption that are entering the investigation stage as well 2 corruption case that has been resolved and decided by the Surabaya Corruption Court judge.
