The fee collection post is located near the Jambu field, Tamansari Village, Licin District. The post is guarded by National Linnas and a number of security personnel. Apparently, The levy payment obligation has been in force since December 2015 then.

The levy levy was very complained of by visitors. Not a few visitors are disappointed because they have to pay double even though the value is not much. Entrance tickets are enforced in accordance with Village Regulation No. 1 Year 2015 regarding Bumdes which contains the management of the tourist village area.

The ticket is valid for anyone who wants to go to the Ijen Crater tourist area. Meanwhile, related to village tourism fees in Tamansari Village, Licin District, Department of culture and tourism (Disbudpar) Banyuwangi stated that this was legally legal.

Especially, from the withdrawal of the levy there is a distribution to the regional government which will later be used for the development of locations around tourist villages.
