ROOFTILE, Jawa Pos Radar Tile – Residents around the ex-terminal of Dusun Krajan, Kulon Tile Village, Tile District, Banyuwangi, was made a fuss on Friday (21/4). A Suprapto pedicab driver, 68, residents of Dusun Jalen II, Setail Village, Genteng District was found dead in his rickshaw.
Tile Police Chief, Kompol Sudarmaji said that Suprapto's death the day before Eid was the first time that one of his fellow pedicab drivers found out., Nour Khoiri, 50. "It happened around 09:00," he told Jawa Pos Radar Tile, Sunday (23/4).
According to the Chief of Police, The incident started when Suprapto, as usual, came to the terminal to earn a living at around 10:00 a.m 08.30. “When his fellow pedicab drivers came, the victim just silent in his rickshaw. His friend thought he was sleeping,said Sudarmaji.
Because long time no wake up, continued the Chief of Police, Suprapto's friends were suspicious and tried to wake the old man up. "When you wake up, you just stay still and don't move, then one of the pedicab drivers called the victim's child,"he said.
After his son came, they wake the victim and cannot get up. Next, residents report to the police. From that report, Police officers came with medics. "From that report we come, the victim's body was examined by officers from the Genteng Hospital," he said.
From the results of the examination, it's clear, it is known that the victim died due to rupture of blood vessels in the brain due to high blood pressure. “Keluarganya bilang jika korban ini punya riwayat darah tinggi,explained the Chief of Police.(sas/abi)
