BANYUWANGI – After the Eid holiday, a number of roads in Banyuwangi Regency will be speeding up repairs again. Among them are a number of roads in the Genteng District.
"Several main routes and alternatives in a number of districts will be accelerated. We target there 500 kilometers of roads in Banyuwangi that can be handled this year. Among them in the District of Genteng. Yesterday I checked,"said Banyuwangi Regent Ipuk Fiestiandani while reviewing road repair preparations, Friday (5/5/2023).

As for a number of other road sections that have started work, including Rogojampi – Songgon, Turns – I'm washing, Greed – Tamanagung, strats – Tamanagung, Karangmulyo Street – Ringintelu Barurejo T-junction, Ibrahimi Street – Maron Tile, Kardoro Street – Karangmulyo, Dasri Village T-junction – Karangdoro, Jalan Bomo – Cloudy, Cheer up – Grajagan, Srono – Sumbersari.
"We continue to gradually build and repair roads. Of course we do this in stages in line with the ability of the budget. But this year I'm sure the number of roads being built and repaired is far greater than before because in previous years there was a budget reallocation for the Covid-19 pandemic," added Ipuk.
