The trial took place at around 1:00 p.m 12.30 It received extra tight police guard.

The Banyuwangi Police don't want to miss out because there is an issue of mass mobilization of people from Kabat District.. Police in full uniform were present to secure the trial location from the courtyard to the inside of the court. The trial, which was closed to the public, was also attended by the Correctional Center (Father) Jember, the victim's parents, and the defendant's attorney. The agenda for the trial was the reading of the public prosecutor's indictment. The first person to sit in the patient's chair was Syaiful Hadi.

However, the trial was postponed more or less 30 minutes because the defendant's parents were not present. The panel of judges continued the trial by reading the indictment against the other defendants, Mohamad Rosyid. In Rosyid's trial, the prosecutor charged both defendants with Article 80 verse 3 Law No 23 Year 2002. The two defendants are thought to have ended Eni Marfuah's life by strangling her and then cutting off her head. This action was carried out by Mohamad Rosyid and Syaiful Hadi together.

The indictment also revealed that Syaiful Hadi planned to kill the victim in another way, namely poisoning and stabbing the victim. In carrying out his evil intentions, Syaiful Hadi assisted Mohamad Rosyid. Defendant's attorney, Eko Sutrisno, stated that he would not make exceptions to the public prosecutor's indictment. He wants the panel of judges to schedule an examination of witnesses in Wednesday's trial (11/6) tomorrow. "We will not submit an exception. Just go straight to the case material, namely examining witnesses," said Eko.
