Experiencing Bleeding After Childbirth, TKI from Banyuwangi Dies in Malaysia

BANYUANGI - Winarsih (35), Women's Workforce (TKW) from the hamlet of Grajagan Pantai, Grajagan village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi district died in Malaysia.

Her life was not saved after she experienced heavy bleeding after giving birth to the fruit of her love with Paidi, the husband of a fellow TKI victim who also comes from Grajagan Village.

Purwoharjo Police Chief, AKP Ali Ashari said, the victim was treated for two days in Malaysia. But even though he had received medical treatment his life was still not helped.

“The victim was treated at a hospital in Malaysia,” said Ali Ashari, Thursday (14/6/2018).

According to the Police Chief, Winarsih's body has been repatriated and buried in her hometown, Wednesday (13/6/2018) afternoon.

“The victim's body was flown from Malaysia and landed at Juanda Airport, Sidoarjo at 03.00 WIB,” clear.

From existing immigration documents, continued Ali, the victim allegedly entered Malaysia using a visit visa. For approx 3 year in neighboring countries, she works as a housekeeper.

“The victim lives in Poniyah's house, his sister who has been in Malaysia for a long time since 2015,” said the police chief.
