BANYUWANGI – The police managed to dismantle the practice of online prostitution in Banyuwangi. A pimp with the initials VAA, (29), residents of Jl. Mendut Gg. XIV, Tamanbaru village, Banyuwangi sub-district was successfully secured in an undercover operation carried out by police officers.
The perpetrators run this online prostitution through social media Bee Talk. The practice of online prostitution was dismantled by Buser Polsek Banyuwangi officers on Friday (7/9/18) night. The cop disguises himself as a philanderer who wants to date a member of the VAA.
"Our undercover members communicated with the perpetrators via social media Bee Talk,Banyuwangi Police Chief AKP Ali Masduki, Saturday (8/9/2018).
The perpetrator ate the bait set by the Police. Initially the perpetrator sent a number of photos of commercial sex workers (prostitute) it has. Finally it was agreed to order a prostitute with the initials TNA who was still old 23 year. After selecting the PSK to date, then agreed on a dating rate of Rp 1,7 million for yesterday.
"Besides that, guests who order must also pay Rp 200 thousand in return for the suspect," he said.
Money of Rp 1,7 million was paid directly to the prostitute during the meeting. That night, it was agreed that the date would be held at a hotel on Jl. Piere Tendean room number 240. Meanwhile, the payoff for Pimps is Rp 200 thousand must be paid first before dating. Payment is made by transfer to the suspect's personal account.
After everything is agreed, The police also secured VAA. This woman was then taken to the Banyuwangi Police for examination. From the results of the examination, it turned out that the suspect still received additional money of Rp 200 thousand of the specified dating rate. So that in total he gets a profit of Rp 400 thousand for each guest-booking prostitute.
For his actions, the suspect now has to languish in the detention room of the Banyuwangi Police. The police charged him with the article 2 verse (1) and (2) and article (12) law number 21 year 2007 on the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons, sub-article 506, 296 KUHP.
"The evidence we have secured includes a transfer receipt of Rp. 200.000,- to the suspect's account, cash Rp 1,7 million and screenshots of online chats via social media Whatsapp and Bee Talk,"said the police who had served as KBO Reskrim Banyuwangi Police.
