JAKARTA – Approaching the Asian Games event 2018, Ministry of Tourism (Ministry of Tourism) RI is currently preparing to promote Banyuwangi tourism to hundreds of thousands of delegates, contingent, and supporters of the biggest sporting event in Asia.
At the moment, The Ministry of Tourism has prepared a tour package 3 day 2 Evening visit to Banyuwangi during the Asian Games in Jakarta, Palembang, and Bandung from August to September 2018.
"This attractive package will sell the majesty and beauty of the Ijen Crater, Bangsring Underwater, Baluran National Park, and Alas Purwo National Park,"explained the Acting Head of the Culture and Tourism Office of Banyuwangi, MY Bramuda, Wednesday (23/8/2017).
According to Bramuda, some time ago the Banyuwangi Disbudpar was invited to a meeting in Palembang to finalize the tour packages to be offered during the Asian Games 2018.
"We have sent promotional materials for the Banyuwangi tour package which will be printed in the Asian Games Manual Book 2018 and will be installed in other materials,” Bramuda added.
Apart from being promoted at the Asian Games 2018, in the same year, the Majestic Banyuwangi tourism promotion package will also be promoted during the IMF and World Bank meetings in Bali.
In a meeting attended by approx 15 thousands of delegates from all over the world, Blimbingsari Airport is planned to be prepared as a parking lot for VIP guest aircraft.
"In that meeting, Banyuwangi tourism will also be promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs," he said.
To welcome the arrival of tourists from the two big activities, on Tuesday (22/8/2017) then, Banyuwangi Disbudpar has gathered a Travel Agent, PHRI, HPI, and tourism businesses. The meeting was to unify the vision and prepare for the two big activities next year. (timesindonesia.co.id)
