ROGOJAMPI – Suspected of having depression, a young mother from Pecemengan Hamlet, Blimbingsari Village, Rogojampi Kecamatan District, desperate to end his life by hanging himself in his rented house in Dusun Kebalen Lor, Lemahbang Dewo village, Rogojampi District yesterday (16/10).
The victim who was found dead was Mudayanah, 32. The person who first discovered it was her husband, And Salim, 36, and his son, Ryan Hidayatullah, 14. When found, the victim's body hanging in the kitchen of his contract house.
The incident that finally shocked the villagers, happened around 11.00. Originally, at 08.00, Ryan accompanied his father, Agus Salim works in one of the Rogojampi market shops. After dropping off his father, Ryan immediately played with his friends.
"Mom is alone at home,said Ryan. around 10.30, Ryan, who had finished playing with his friends, went home. Arriving home, all doors closed and locked. His mother called several times, didn't seem to answer.
“I immediately went to the shop to catch up with dad, all lunch," he said. Arriving at the house, Agus Salim was shocked and immediately screamed hysterically when he saw his wife die with her body hanging from one of the woods in the kitchen using a plastic rope.
“The victim is in an unemployed status, Pecemengan hamlet address, Blimbingsari Village, here rent a house,” said Village Head Lemahbang Dewo, Agus Siswanto. Someone hanged himself, Siswanto immediately reported it to the Rogojampi Police. That afternoon too, The victim's body was unloaded from the ropes and taken to the Gitik Health Center for examination.
“This victim had attempted suicide before, but managed to prevent, possibly due to depression,explained Agus Siswanto. Meanwhile, from the results of the examination by health workers at the Gitik Health Center, Traces of rope were found on the victim's neck.
“The victim is pure suicide, the family wants the body not to be autopsied and will be buried,” explained the Head of the Rogojampi Police, Kompol Toha Choiri, through the Criminal Investigation Department, Inspector Edy Susanto. (radar)
