The panel of judges who heard the case considered that the two defendants were proven legally and convincingly guilty of violating the criminal provisions in Article 170 verse 2 1st KUHP on vandalism.
4 The panel's decision was based on a number of considerations and facts and evidence revealed at the trial. Aggravating considerations, The actions of the two defendants are considered disturbing the community and disturbing security.
Easing considerations, the defendant frankly admitted his actions, sorry, and promised not to repeat his deeds, and have never been punished. In response to the verdict, Suyadi and Jovan, who were accompanied by their lawyers, immediately accepted the verdict.
Meanwhile, public prosecutor (JPU) Hari Utomo stated that he is still thinking about accepting or taking an appeal. The attitude of the prosecutor who is still hanging is at least based on the disparity in the judge's decision and the demands made by the public prosecutor in the previous trial.
In his claim, The prosecutor demanded the two defendants be sentenced to three years in prison each. “We can accept this decision. Because, even if proven guilty, the judge can still see with conscience towards this matter,said Rohman Hadi Purnomo, Jovan and Suyadi's attorneys.
