BANYUWANGI – Correctional Institution (Pages) Banyuwangi moved up to class II A. This class increase was carried out by inaugurating officials in the only prison on Earth Blambangan. The inauguration was carried out at the East Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Surabaya, Tuesday (7/1/2020).
Reported from Kabarjawatimurcom, Head of Banyuwangi Class II A Prison Ketut Akbar Heri Ahcjar said that with the increase in grade from Class IIB Prison to Class II A Prison, automatically increase the rank and add fields below the Chief of Staff.
“Exist 5 officials under the Chief of Staff. The newest one is the Head of the Work Activities Section,” explained Akbar.
According to him, the new officials were also appointed according to the new rank. Because this class promotion also refers to the rank of prison officials.
This class increase will also increase security and coaching activities for the inmates. So later, When inmates who have been in detention return to society, it can be more meaningful.
“We will increase various training. Currently we have also carried out training. Example, batik training, freshwater fish cultivation training, furniture training and much more,” Akbar said.
“At the same time, this class increase will also increase security at the Banyuwangi prison,” he added.
