The young man known as Zainul Hadi alias Sandi was arrested by the police for taking away a young girl from the watershed. Sandi is also suspected of having invited DAS to have a relationship like husband and wife.
The arrest of the suspect began when the DAS family reported to the Songgon Police on 21 last August. In the report, an aged watershed 14 years did not come home and allegedly invited by Sandi.
The police who received the report immediately moved by trying to contact the victim's cellphone, When contacted, the victim said that he worked in Jember as a shop assistant.
“We then tried to trace the victim's whereabouts through his cellphone and it turned out that the watershed position was in the Situbondo area. Then the officer did the same tracking on the perpetrator's cell phone, turns out the position is also in the same place,” said Songgon Police Chief, AKP Suwanto Barri through the Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Subakti.
Subakti explained, after finding the whereabouts of the two wanted people, officers continue to investigate. This case became clearer after the victim returned home, after that the victim was examined by the police.
“At first the victim insisted on working in Jember. But his confession changed when he was shown the position of his cellphone when contacted by officers a few days earlier. The victim claimed to have left the house with the perpetrator to Situbondo, because they continued to search, the victim finally decided to go home,” clear sub.
From the victim's statement, officers then arrested the perpetrators in Asembagus on Thursday (24/8/2017).
Based on Password's confession, he and DAS have been dating about a year and a half ago. They previously met when Sandi worked on a road paving project around the victim's house.
The perpetrator, who already has a wife and two children, also admitted to having intercourse with the victim. The incident was repeated as many times 17 times while on the run.
